Workspace Switcher not showing... #262

When i add the switcher applet it doesn't show up. The thrashcan works.
It's GNOME + Compiz (Ubuntu Feisty Fawn).
I suspect it's something with my workspaces setup. When i switch using
Compiz's sliding thing (ctr-alt-cursors) i get 4 workspaces, all with theyr
awn and desktop panel. This is how i usually work.
But when i add to common panel switcher, it shows two workspaces (the
default Ubuntu setup), and if i click on the second one i get on a empty
worspace, with no awn nor panel, and the ctrl-alt-cursor does nothing.
Perhaps the panel is choking up on that?

Uh, that would be "Perhaps the SWITCHER is choking up on that"

Ran from the terminal, got this:

(awn-applet-activation:16506): Wnck-CRITICAL **: wnck_pager_set_n_rows:
assertion
`n_rows > 0' failed

The applet renders as a single white pixel.

Ok, seems i got both problems :)
Now, i installed from a repository, how do i create the gconf schema? I vaguelly
recall having the same problem the first time i installed awn, and ran some
magic
command that solved it...
