Since today I am now receiving a comment that says unable to login post to long : x509 certificate has expired or is not yet valid ? Any one else getting this

It looks like the Hive service stopped supporting the API HiveKit was using.

Due to a lack of time, I don't have the time right now to look into the replacement API they are using. If someone wants to take a look and make updates, I'll happily add them to the collaborators on this project.

I'd you delete the contents of the folder "Hive\ Bridge" and try again it should work.

I have setup a new instance of this on my Raspberry Pi today and have encountered no issues, its all working fantastic!

RDMurray commented 8 years ago

I have just installed Hivekit and I don't have this issue. It is working perfectly.

Good to hear.

Is @njpatel going to be continuing this project? seems to be interest and its far from depreciated and a gap given there is no word from Hive on when / how they will implement HomeKit with existing equipment.

Haha, here I am in 2019, with the new Hive Heating and Cooling thermostat in the US, wondering when hive will implement HomeKit support. Unfortunately all of the homebridge plugins and other ways to access Hive Thermostats through the API only work in the UK. (as far as I can tell) @VR6Pete
