CMux: Couldn't listen on port

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start mythfrontend

in the mdd.log file I get....

Fatal Error -   CMux: Couldn't listen on 16550/tcp: Address already in use

running on Kubuntu 10.04. Music control and program listings works fine, so the 
rest of my setup appears to be correct. I can see MDD is running OK but no 
video/recordings appear. I do not understand what cmux really is, so not sure 
how to proceed

Please cancel this bug: I was being naive. I thought that I had to manually 
start mdd, rather than it being started as part of mythfrontend. Therefore I 
was trying to run a second mdd process hence the port clash
