Possible memory leaks when Google Reader integration is on #224

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
A few people have reported that Snackr 0.38 uses up a lot of memory over
time when Google Reader integration is on and they have a lot of feeds. We
should check this out in the profiler...maybe there's some reference that's
being held onto that shouldn't be.

I am seeing the same thing. I have restart every couple of hours because Snackr
will
be using 600-700mb of RAM. After leaving overnight it crashed after using 2.6gb
of RAM

Added some calls to System.disposeXML() to see if that fixes this problem. This
will
be in the 0.4 build.

Windows 7 x64 same issue here. At a steady growth of 300kb/s. Dead in two hours.
