Type definitions #149

Thank you for the PR and all the time you spent! I am not a ts developer and not willing to support type annotations myself. From my experience they will need to be updated and supported in the future and will block me from doing any further development. There is already independent @types definitions available so you can update it if something is not working as expected. With all kindness I have to reject this PR
