It would be nice if we could have the UI come up with only the left part filled in, e.g. treat the Details groupbox as part of the per-pattern elements you get when selecting a pattern in the left-side list. Maybe just put the three requirements boxes inside Details box and show that box only when a pattern is selected.

As it is the empty Name and Pattern boxes you get on first opening the dialog are misleading.

We would need to code a WPF behaviour that collapsed the right part when no branch pattern is selected. Since it is admin only ui it is not high on the priority list...
