make components that can connect to each other without the need for arrow

Also make it possible to connect arrows together

an arrow is two connectors with lines in between
the connectors are used in a protocol to connect elements together

a arrow with a single connector and a single character representation could be used as a building brick in elements that can connect without arrows or rather with arrows that look like a connection point
