We need to come up with a clear and concise (as in ideally one paragraph) text snippet to explain what a design system is and how it benefits an organization.

The target audience for this piece of writing are for instance laymen who need to be sold on the benefits and opportunities for adopting a design system and the NL Design System in particular.
