Database choice for project

I drafted my database requirements for the Emotion recognition in Dementia project in this issue. I have some experience with MonetDB, and followed brief introduction tutorials on SQLite and postgresql.

What is the best way forward?

• Is there a preferred database we work with at the eScience Center that I should use as a starting point?
• I visit the next data-sig meeting and we discuss this?
• I try out multiple databases and make a thorough comparison of the different options before making a final decision?
• ...?
