Note: the Span dialog, at its current height, does not fit on Mac Air screen unless I put Chrome into full-screen mode. There just isn't space for anything else in the Span dialog. The primary problem here is no longer that of implementation, but before that one of design: where to present the information, and how. (And I still don't quite know what a "normalisation" is, so I can't really help.)
I already said I don't know anything about normalization, nor can I learn (it depends on simstring
, and simstring
refuses to build on my Mac). Reassigning back to Sampo.
The server and client-server protocol have support for any number of normalization entries for a single annotation, but the UI only support one (or zero). This should be extended.
(There's a potentially tricky jQuery UI issue related to this: the dialog is resizable, which IIRC causes glitches if combined with dynamic resizing. Might need to think this through a bit.)
