As long as this doesn't go straight to our inboxes, I think it's a very good idea if the "opt-in" is very clearly done. How about something like what FF at least used to have, a popup with "oops, something went wrong, would you like to let the devs know?"
Would it perhaps be a good idea if we allowed for brat to collect some system information and send it to us in the case of a crash? This would of course be an opt-in feature and what I mostly fear is a flooding if something goes wrong with the script.
