New email notifications (alerts) are not shown #106

After installing MinTrayR, I noted that new email notifications (alerts) are not shown. Upon disabling this extension, they were displayed again.

In all cases, I made sure that the "show an alert" checkbox is enabled in Thunderbird's Tools -> Options -> General.

PS: I'm on Windows XP SP3 (32-bit). I use Thunderbird version 17.0.2, and MinTrayR version 1.1.2.

I have the same issue.

Notifications are only shown when the window is open. I did many test and i'm sure that this doesn't work. In my case, I made sure that the "show an alert" checkbox is enabled too.

I'm on Ubuntu 11.10 using Thunderbird version 17.0.5 and MinTrayR version 1.1.2
