New Mail Icon in tray goes away after a few minutes #111

MinimizeToTray revived 1.1.2 with Thunderbird 17.0.7. I have setup the extension to minimize Thunderbird to the tray when closing or minimizing Thunderbird. It works however the new mail icon that shows in the tray only shows for a few minutes then it disappears. Shouldn't it stay visible until I've opened the email message it's referring to?

In Windows tray options I've set it to always display.

The "New Message" tray icon is not part of MinTrayR but Thunderbird itself.
