Leaving Thunderbird (open or minimized to tray doesn't mind) and sending machine into hibernation mode.
After rebooting, one can open Thunderbird as usual, but pressing minimize or close doesen't send Thunderbird into tray, but only conventionally to the taskbar.

OS: Windows 7 x64 Thunderbird: 24.1.1 Minimize to tray: 1.1.2

If you see tray icon while window is opened, clicking on that icon brings the window to front and removes the tray icon - this bug is not related to hibernation per se, it happens even during normal usage. Unfortunately I couldn't trace when this happens.
