Cannot reproduce
Issue is quite reproducable here under Windows 7; minimize (in-tray) your Firefox windows and then force it to quit (reboot or shutdown) without asking to close tabs or so. When Firefox restarts and restores the tabs, any previously in-tray windows will not be in the tray, but ridiculously small and not accessible from the desktop except if maximized.
There's a little workaround; once it's like that, maximize that window, then drag each tab down so it opens a new window (or drag them into a new Firefox window not exhibiting the problem).
After installing this add-on, firefox does not protect its size when windows is shut down. When you reboot the windows and start firefox it starts in a very tiny window and I need to resize it. When this add-on is disabled this is cured.
