Npcap Bug Report #275

When I download Wireshark on my pc I get halfway through the download and the the download for npcap pops up and then disappears and does not install. I have tried downloading it separate as well and it will still not download. It stays on my screen for 4 seconds and then disappears. I am on the newest version of windows. I also have the install.txt file and NPFinstall.txt file if that is important. Thank you!

Thanks for this report. Please provide the following information so we can better diagnose:

  1. Version of Wireshark you are installing.
  2. Version of Npcap or WinPcap already installed (if any).
  3. Attach install.txt and NPFInstall.txt
  4. Text from Wireshark's "Help" -> "About Wireshark" screen.
