Can the harvest level of TCon Obsidian be changed?

I have a issue with the Chopping block, if you place an Obsidian sharpening kit on a TCon axe, you get better then diamond number of planks. That bypasses the need for metal tools.

My options are remove crafting Obsidian in the TCon Smeltery. Or Changing harvest levels of TCon obsidian. I would prefer to Tweak TCon tools harvest levels as pigiron isn't that hard to get in this pack.

Harvesting levels:

  1. Stone, Can harvest blocks that require a Pickaxe.
  2. Iron, Can harvest Common Ores, like Iron Ore
  3. Diamond, Can harvest Rare and Uncommon ores, like Diamond Ore, Gold Ore, Redstone Ore
  4. Obsidian, Can harvest Obsidian
  5. Cobalt, Can harvest Cobalt Ore

Tinkers' Construct Materials

I would prefer these harvest levels:

Common Non-metals, are things like cactus, slime, flint, stone. Hard Metals, are Iron, Pig Iron, and Bronze. Rare Materials, are Knight-Slime, and Endstone.

Change Harvest levels:

Can the TCon Diamond modifier be replaced with a BWM's Diamond Ingot? No

I can not add a TCon Modifier with CraftTweaker.

I have changed harvest levels of those materials.

Consider removing survivalist from pack. It's still possible to get a Diamond level Axe, with bronze or Iron.

Ask during Next Playtest

Do you prefer the chopping block to the crafting grid?

I have removed the chopping block from the pack. It's too much work to get it to work as intended.

I have added Tinkers' Complement to the pack. And changed the Smeltery to require Obsidian, and a Diamond.

Changed Harvest levels, of Obsidian to Obsidian, and Pig Iron back to Obsidian.

The progression now requires you to find Iron. Melt it in the Tinkers' Complement Meltery, make a Iron Pickaxe head, and upgrade that with a Diamond. You now have a Pick to mine Obsidian.
