To implement syntax highlighting with chroma, I had to change my theme (cocoa) to:
chroma.css
Those changes can be found on nmasse-itix/cocoa-hugo-theme@0cd0defed65fa7f4de8c81b7d1eb4fd92b302d1f.
I also had to:
pygmentsUseClasses = true
config.toml
highlight
netlify.toml
hugo

to generate the chroma css before calling thehugo
