forcings might be wrong
specific humidity forcing not added(also no chlorophyll and no river discharge forcings)
SST and SSS are the problem so see temp forcing and salinity forcing
some MOM_input parameter may be wrong

Still there is issue? which run is this?

This error is probably due to bad vertical coordinates
The masking depth and minimum depth parameters should be properly set.

There are lot of reasons for extreme surface values:

Too big timestep
Improper interpolation between land cell and ocean cell can cause erroneous high values in the ocean
