Makaram Cluster core limited to 144

• Problem with the byte limit

• ULIMIT has changed for all nodes
• Now cluster will work for 192 compute nodes @Parag0206

increasing n to 192 from 144 does not work. It gives error of not sufficient number of cores present

MAKARAM cluster setup

• The cluster had 8 compute nodes (each with 24 cores) and total compute core count of 192 cores
• This nodes are connected via bridges which managed through ssh
• The execution across compute nodes required an host file containing ssh addresses ( which will used by the mpirun command) So to accommodate more number cores keep a eye in number of nodes and addresses in the hosts file

• Now the node 1 is working (previously it is not ). we can go up to 168 cores
• The problem still persist for node 6
• I will inform the technical support team for makaram @Parag0206 check the host file and run.sh file in the main directory of 2012_bob_obc

• Yes, the core count can now be increased upto 168 cores. I have checked by running the case
• As mentioned requires run.sh and a host file
