I think this should be ported to ngs-tools. That way users of the pipeline don't have to mess with groovy installs, finding third party jar files, and classpath issues.

I completely agree, but that's unlikely to happen before the hackthon, unless you can belt it out. The tutorial is an integration test. In the meantime we need
