Currently the bibliography field is empty, which will trigger an error in a future version of rmarkdown. We'll truly appreciate it if you could merge this PR and make a CRAN release in the near future. Thank you!

Hi @fernote7 I'm wondering if you have a plan to make a new CRAN release, so I could get rid of a hack in the rmarkdown package (which was provided to prevent the breakage of BETS on CRAN). Thank you!
