add vignettes to pkgdown site #23

This PR addresses issue #21 by

adding manual, markdown notation, and regional workflows pages to the pkgdown site
moving the figures used in the readme file from inst/ to man/ following the recommendations from R Packages (2e)

Note: I didn't add a developer reference page because pkgdown automatically generates the reference page using the files under man/
