[x] Review fix-grammar branch (@kellijohnson-NOAA made some grammar changes on the index.qmd page)
[x] The website is not fully accessible to those with disabilities given that there is no alternative text for any of the images. I would recommend first fixing the lack of alternative text.
[x] Potentially run website through an accessibility checker.
[x] Another small thing, having clickable text that says "here" is frowned upon from those that cannot see given the word "here" is not informative about what they will be navigating to. I tried to change some of these in the branch called fix-grammar but there are probably some that I missed.
[x] In the "## Asking questions about Stock Synthesis" section on the front page it suggests that users can open an issue. I would suggest not including that as an option. Questions should be directed to the Discussion page.
[x] Furthermore, rather than suggesting that users look to the VLAB page, I think it would be better to try to navigate the information from VLAB to the Discussion pages much like what we did for old issues. Rick would prefer we don't navigate them to VLAB
[x] In the "## Contributing to Stock Synthesis" it suggests that future developers can either open a pull request or submit an issue when it should only be the latter. Pull requests should not be encouraged prior to creating an issue.
[x] In the "## Tools for working with Stock Synthesis" I suggest breaking out each of the Data Limited tools into its own line. And, it is not clear where readers should open an issue if they want their tool listed under this heading. Again, I suggest that you have open an issue rather than submit a pull request.
[x] The page with how to cite the SS3 user manual should also have a link to where users can find the user manual, as well as information for what versions the manual would be helpful for.
[x] Also, I do not think that this link to citing the old SS3 user manual should be the first topic in the drop down menu for SS3 User Manuals at the top of the page.
[x] The small icons at the top of the home page next to the three drop down menus are too small to recognize what they are and do not really add definitive help for each of the three topics. Thus, I suggest removing them.
[x] When you click on the link to the html version of the SS3 User Manual in the drop down it should open a new page and not change the current page because there is no way to navigate back to the website.
