Dave contacted Linnea Flostrand (DFO Canada) and she indicated that no sardine have been reported off VI this summer, including a survey in October (which was cut short, however). She also indicated that unusually high numbers of Jack mackerel were observed off VI last year (but the same was not reported this year).
