CGW-S-003 Phys Mode Switch: should this be rooted in AGW-S-010 Mode Switch instead? #3

nothing about the current wording of CGW-S-003, CGW-S-003A or CGW-S-003B makes those requirements specific to CAN devices.

They could be Abstract Intended Gateway (AGW-) requirements instead
