RCN-122 Draft 18-Sept-2022 has the following updates:
Note added that the PluX16 does not have a version with sound that allows longer length (unlike NEM 658).
Function outputs F0F, F0R, AUX1, and AUX2 must always be supported by the decoder.
"Train Bus" lines are available for use as "TTL/LVTTL General Purpose output" or as open collector/drain inputs switched against ground (GPIO_A and GPIO_B).
GPIO_C added. GPIO_C is preferred for wheel synchronization in steam locomotives.
If servo control is present, it is recommended to be on GPIO_A and GPIO_B.
Serial buses shall always use the connectors labeled "Train Bus".
Note about V+ generated on the locomotive system board not being connected to V+ on the decoder interface.
Clarification note added that AUX1 through AUX7 are all amplified outputs.
Assuming these RCN updates are approved, they shall also be added to S-9.1.1.4.
