I'm personally not able to replicate this issue on my own setup, but could you try setting gl_finish to 1 with the in game developer console?
My setup: Custom PC CPU: Intel Core i5 GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX460 1GB running on the 331.20 drivers RAM: 16GB OS: Fresh installation of Ubuntu 13.10
Thanks a lot that seemed to do the trick for me.
I've been experiencing horrible mouse lag when I move, which makes the games pretty much unplayable. I can move using WASD just fine but as soon as I try to move my mouse in any direction it is super delayed.
I also had the same problem with all other source games including: DOD: Source, CS:Source, and TF2. I was able to fix the problem in those other games by going into their cfg folder located somewhere in /home/user/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/ and creating a autoexec.cfg in those game folders by setting fps_max 90. I also had to turn vsync off and mulitcore rendering to disabled. I tried this for NMRIH without any results.
Here's my system specs: Dell Studio 1558 CPU: Intel Core i3 GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon 5470HD 1GB RAM: 6GB OS: Ubuntu 13.10
