Getting damaged while phasing through a teammate who's getting bitten #704

Version: Steam closed beta and the older version of the game What happens: Getting Damaged/Infected when you phase through a teammate who's getting bitten/held by a zombie When does it happen: When you phase to your teammate Steps to reproduce the issue (How did you do it?)

  1. Get someone to get bitten
  2. Forcibly phase through in the guy who's getting bitten

Since we've been playing this game for like a year now, we've already encountered this many times.

FYI, a community-created Sourcemod plugin fixes this issue: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=2573434#post2573434

Maybe you can check how it manages to do it. Or maybe there's a better way.

Fixed in code commit r4248.

Tested with Dysphie. Confirmed fixed in src-r4388/dev-r8771, needs to be closed.
