functions don't work correctly for this version of mpg123

workaround: uninstall and use mpg321

playless relies on exit codes, so it's likely to do with that. hope to fix this week.

Also in Ubuntu 17.10 running mpg123 version 1.25.6-1

fixed for mksh only! will continue to look into bash.

requires fifo method. -o nofifo no longer an option until resolved permanently
