Discovered webtask today and thought it would be a good resource for noBackend apps. Run code on a separate server environment through an HTTP call. I'll still need to give it a try but they reference backendless apps specifically as a use case.

I believe it uses AWS Lambda as the backbone of the service. Cool stuff.

Maybe I'll make a quick demo app and write a tutorial to go along with it. :D
