Cannot remove password from PDF #439

I have password for a PDF file and like to import into my eReader for ease of reading.

However, when I enter password into the config of DeDRM 10.0.3, it cannot find the password and error in decrypting. I re-retry the password and it worked for preview in Mac.

Calibre v7.1

Error message: " Failed to initialize plugin: '/Users/xx/Library/Preferences/calibre/plugins/Inept Epub DeDRM.zip' Failed to initialize plugin: '/Users/xx/Library/Preferences/calibre/plugins/Inept PDF DeDRM.zip' DeDRM v10.0.3: Trying to decrypt c66txlb4.pdf DeDRM v10.0.3: c66txlb4.pdf is a PDF ebook with encryption Standard DeDRM v10.0.3: Trying empty password ... invalid password DeDRM v10.0.3: Trying password 1 ... invalid password DeDRM v10.0.3: Didn't manage to decrypt PDF. Make sure the correct password is entered in the settings. "

I don't know why it isn't working in DeDRM. But I believe you should be able to do this in Preview. Under File > Export or File > Edit Permissions. I don't have a Mac so I don't know exactly what this looks like.
