These surface parameters are critical inputs to land, weather, and atmospheric composition models. This would impact also canopy-app processes, e.g., canopy wind.

These can be used as optional inputs to canopy-app instead of using approximated model Z0 and ZPD. Z0 and ZPD can readily be derived from NDVI, e.g., https://www.fao.org/aquastat/py-wapor/et_look_rsts/roughness.html, as other similar canopy products are.
