UFS-Coastal/ADCIRC Inclusion: Development/Testing/Consulation #175

Support of inclusion of ADCIRC into UFS-Coastal. Three tasks are defined for this project:

Development: Contributions to the ADCIRC repository in the model's source code and in the NUOPC code, to ensure flawless integration in CoastalApp and in the transitioned UFS-Coastal application.
Testing: Run UFS-Coastal/ADCIRC based regression tests on Orion, Hera and ParallelWorks (in that order) to verify the integrity of the system. Comparisons/Analyses with real data is a requirement.
Consultation: Offer consultation to both ADCIRC and NCAR developers on ADCIRC internals, compilation and model requirements (e.g., libraries, compilers, etc).

The "ghost" point/element issue still remains pending. Chris Massey responded to my requests and supplied the workaround used in ADCIRC to identify those points. Need to talk to Ufuk to see how to expedite the process.

RT tests for ADCIRC are incorporated into UFS-Coastal. The list of tests is: coastal_florence_hsofs_atm2adc coastal_ike_shinnecock_atm2adc

The atmospheric forcing has been switched from CFS to Florence_HWRF_HRRR_HSOFS and/or Wind_Pressure_HWRF_Florence_ExtendedSmooth to be consistent with CoastalApp-testsuite (comparison). The WW3 tests are currently beeing checked.
