existing IEA code #1

There is some code produced for the IEA over at https://github.com/mandykarnauskas/GoM-Ecosystem-Status-Report/blob/master/plotIndicatorTimeSeries.r

This is the code used to create the plots in the pdf IEA report. Is there anything useful there to pull into this repo?
