This frequently happens to me when the UI is a bit laggy due to high system load.

Description
If I don't do a big motion across the entire screen, it will constantly freeze halfway through opening spaces or mission control, and the only way to get back out of it is to do the gesture again.

This seemed to happen immediately after updating to Sequoia.
