There are actually three buttons that could be considered "thumb buttons" on the MX Master 3. For me Buttons 4 and 5 work fine. But there's another button hidden below the rubber coating, which always behaves like [⌘]+[Tab] and can't be caught by MouseFix. If this is a request to add support for this button to MouseFix, I'd like to +1 this.
Yes, exactly.
I notice the same thing on my logitech g500. Same activity is displayed for me using this mouse, command+tab, and the button isn't detected by MMF.
The thumb button generates the key sequence ⌃⌥⇥ (Control, Option, Tab) and can be mapped using the Keyboard Shortcuts page in settings app.
I don't know what ⌃⌥⌘ does as it does nothing on my mac. It seems to act exactly like CMD+tab

I can't map this sequence for some reason.
same here, I wish to manage that thumb button which is under the rubber coating.
An old issue it seems, but yes - this feature would allow to completely replace the damned logitech software with mac mouse fix
+1 for this too.
I am so fucking done with all Logitech software, on my personal machine Options+ works fine, but on my work machine I literally have to reinstall Options+ every time the machine sleeps.
Please save me.
I'm so tired of it, I'll go right out and pledge to pay for someones MX Master 3 upon delivery of code that enables Mac Mouse Fix to work with the button under the rubber by the thumb.
The issue still persists in the latest version.
Interestingly the thumb button can be recognized on MX Master 3s as button 6 without any issue.
Description
the thumb button of my mx master 3 is not recognized by this program, can you do something about it please?
