Move left/right system shortcut erase system ones [bug] #912

Open Libeccio84 opened 7 months ago

Libeccio84 commented 7 months ago

Description

Shortcuts for moving left/right a space, set via System Settings app, get erased as I change workspace using mouse buttons.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set move left/right a space via system settings
  2. configure mouse buttons for switching spaces (left/right)
  3. move a space left via mouse button -> system settings shortcut gets erased in realtime (I have the window opened on the secondary display)
  4. move a space right via mouse button -> see above

The issue occurs using the native Mac Mouse Fix "move left/right a space", as well as mapping mouse buttons to send those shortcuts set in System Settings app.

This issue does not occur with per app shortcut, with services shortcuts and for mission control (I have all those mapped).

Hi! :) unfortunately the issue still occurs with v. 3.0.3 (22854) on macOS Sequoia...

Thanks for the report! And sorry the issues. I do plan to address this. I realize this is a very annoying bug. I'll try to fix this before the end of the year, but unfortunately, I can't promise anything.

I'd also gladly give you a refund if you'd like that. If you're interested, please just click here.

I hope that helps a bit or at least clears things up. Let me know if you have any more questions or feedback.

No refound, your app is great, but I have read in bug 1073 that it would have been addressed in this release, so here I am :)

Regards, Dario

Ohh yeah sorry, I planned to do one big update, but then I had to rush an update out due to macOS Sequoia. It's all taking a bit longer, and now I have something else sort of urgent that I'm working on.

I'll try to get to this soon though. I'd really like to see it fixed as well.

And I'm glad you like the app, so thanks for sharing :)
