In general I have noticed an abundance of thrown exceptions which are not being 
caught. Likewise, screen updates could be faster by switching the UI over to 
SlimDX like they did for GenesisRadio SDR. It greatly reduces CPU overhead.

If assistance is needed to ferret the issues out let me know. I can assist as a 
developer.
