Can you try a different USB OTG adapter?
Do you get any dialog when you connect your DSLR? The Gallery dialog should
popup.

I have a new USB OIG adapter on order. I expect it in any day and will let
know what happens.
I get no dialog when I connect my DSLR. Its like it isn't seeing it at all.

I got two new USP OIG adapters and tried them both. No recognition of the
camera with either one.

Does the Motorola RAZR Maxx has the USB Host function (kernel and Android)?
Do you now get the Gallery dialog with the new adapter when you plugin in your
camera?
Did you try connecting the camera with a powered USB HUB?

I had connection Problems too with D70 and D3100.
After root access and running "Usb Host Dignostic" it suddenly recognized the
Cams during the diagnostics, now i'm using "USB Host Controller" and everything
is working fine.
Really Nice Work! Keep it UP!

My problem looks like the one in issue number 20. So I copied it and tried to
answer all the same questions. I’m hoping you can give me some advice of
where to look. Thanks.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connecting the camera to the phone
2. Starting the software
3. Search for USB camera results in “No DSLR camera found on USB”
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When I connect the phone to the camera, I expect the software to recognize that
a camera is there is there.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Dslrdashboard V0.30.22,
Nikon D7000 camera Firmware versions: A 1.02; B 1.03 L 1.002,
On Moto Droid RAZR HD, System version 9.16.6.XT926.Verizon.US,
Android version 4.1.2, Kernel version 3.0.31-ge491d6d,
Build number 9.8.1Q-62_VQW_MR-2
Please provide any additional information below.
I have an OTG cable for my RAZR HD, but I can't get DSLR Dashboard to recognize
that the camera is connected.
Do you get any dialog when you connect your DSLR? The Gallery dialog should
popup.
I get no dialog when I connect my DSLR. Its like it isn't seeing it at all.
Does the Motorola RAZR HD has the USB Host function (kernel and Android)?
Please tell me how to determine this.
Do you now get the Gallery dialog with the new adapter when you plugin in your
camera?
No.
Did you try connecting the camera with a powered USB HUB?
No.
I ran "Usb Host Dignostic" on the phone it reported code 138178 when the camera
was connected.
P.S. This looks like a really nice application and I very much look forward to
using it.

I read about it on XDA and the Razr is configured to use OTG functionality thru
the Motorola Dock. It won't initiate the OTG function if there's no 5 volt feed
on the USB cable. Some people got it working by connecting a powered (min 1
amp) USB hub on a Y-cable.

I got the same problem but with my Galaxy Tab2 10.1
Android 4.1.2
Kernel 3.0.31 - 812001
Builnummer JZ054K.P5110XXDMF1
I updated the firmware from Android 3.0 tot 4.1.2 on Jun 26 2013
I had no problems with that firmware to connect my dSLR to the tablet. It was
running perfect but since the firmware upgrade no response..no notification.
However...if I connect a small cardreader to the tablet it is recognized...but
a dSLR does not work.
