Right now the output of a file named WRITEME* is saved as README*. It would be nice if there was some kind of other convention to avoid using target option or frontmatter.
Some ideas:
anything.wmd to anything.md - reads as "WritemeMarkDown" or "WriteMeDown" ;)
anything.wm.md to anything.md - reads "WriteMe.MarkDown". This would let all editors/viewers know that it's Markdown because it's a known file extension.
