Executing 'yo meanjs' gives following error

Hmm...yo meanjs scaffolded a new meanjs project just fine for me. However, running npm install afterwards gave me the node-pre-gyp install --fallback-to-build error. I was able to resolve it by removing "node-inspection" dev dependency from package.json and running npm install again. I am using node v7.2.0 and npm v4.0.2. If you're running Node v6.3 or greater, that's all you need to do. Otherwise, you might need to use "node-gyp" (npm install node-gyp -g).

@kimbaudi thanks, worked for me im using windows 8.8 and node 7.10

DarkBitz commented 7 years ago

My workaround: npm install node-gyp -g npm install --production npm install
