Feedback on 'Publish messages to a topic' #114

Please give examples of what the msg would look like to set the topic, qos, or retain, per the instruction "Leave topic, qos, or retain blank if you want to send them via msg properties".

Hi Dave,

Thank you for the quick response. The links illustrated would be very helpful. However, I do not see them on the web page https://cookbook.nodered.org/mqtt/publish-to-topic

Update, now I see. If I click on “mqtt” on the breadcrumb, it goes to a table of contents… Also, I see that one needs to then click on “Show Flow”, and also decipher the JSON string.

Or inport the flow to the editor and play/experiment with it. (much easier to read/understand)
