So last NBD Melb we used the York Butter factory which was a good space though a little small for 45 people. YBF were very good to us, giving us the space for free because they wanted to foster this type of event and use of the space and I'm sure they'd be welcoming again.

Before we go there though, does anyone know any other space owners that might have something a little larger that may work better practically?

Would you consider ThoughtWorks office? They are big enough for ~100 and might be able to host nodebots. Ping @lfendy

It's almost impossible not to clash with other related meetups :( Unfortunately the date is already set (one speaker + venue)

Okay, talked to Electron Workshop and going to see them next week to see about the space. Have also been in touch with IceLab and reached out to Inspire 9 and NAB.

MYOB have also reached out though they are in Glen Waverly (but have a serious amount of space).

If you haven't seen it already - we have a location now, it's the NAB Village at Docklands - bottom of the new NAB building near Southern Cross station.
