This talk will go into when it is appropriate to create an NPM module. The talk will cover the factors that go into when to create an NPM module. Additionally, the talk will use some real world examples of some apps that have been broken down into smaller composable npm modules.

Jeff Sloyer is a Developer Advocate for Bluemix at IBM. He spends most of his time tracking on creating demos, proof of technologies, and just tinkering with the latest and greatest stuff. He has been developing in node for the last 3 years. Before that he was developing in Java and Python.
