NPM modules are an important part of the node ecosystem. To make the user experience as slick as possible for all users it is important to make sure that the modules "just work" correctly for the users on as many types of systems as possible. This talk with cover our experiences with creating cross-platform NPM modules across multiple operating systems, and testing some of the ones that are already in the field.

Stewart Addison is a developer with IBM working on Node and its use on IBM platforms. He has a strong background in multi-platform technology, development and automation. Prior to that he has worked as a system administrator and in various other development roles in C/C++/Java and other scripting languages.
