The rc1
designation should come from the upstream io.js project IMO. Choosing a specific nightly and calling it rc1
is beyond @iojs/docker's authority.
@pesho I agree, but from what I understand this particular nightly build is an official RC version as per iojs/io.js#1532, iojs/website#327, and TC meeting as of April 29th. // cc @rvag
yeah, I'd have no problem calling it rc1, this could be considered rc2 simply because it's the second one I pointed out on the release PR
I'm calling this one RC3: https://iojs.org/download/nightly/v2.0.0-nightly20150504f34b105ccd/ - crossing my fingers this will be the last one before release, perhaps even final state of the code
Roger that! I'll update the RC in this PR and get it submitted to the Docker Hub.
This PR add the release candidate of io.js v2.0.0.
As per #51 I propose we release this version to the Docker Hub under the following tags:
