Hi, @nodejs/version-management!

@ljharb and I were chatting in IRC and we'd like to get this thing going again. Things that need doing, I think:

agree on a clear scope of work
determine what responsibilities/authority would need to be delegated to the group to accomplish that work
write that stuff into a charter for TSC approval
do the work

(That's not necessarily an ordered list. For example, some or all of "do the work" doesn't necessarily have to wait for a charter to be written.)

To get things going, perhaps we can have a meeting in January.

Anyone want to put together a Doodle poll of around half a dozen times/dates in January that work for them, and then we'll see what works for everyone else in the group?

Side note: Please let the CommComm know how we can support this effort, if at all possible. Would love to see and enable more people who are passionate about this work on the project <3
