More changes for IDF4.4

These were in my branch but it didn't get pushed (argh!)

Make sure all boxes are checked (add x inside the brackets) when you submit your contribution, remove this sentence before doing so.

This adds the missing fixes (compiler warnings mostly) and updates to the released version of the idf4.4

Hhmm, they look identical to what we have at 8f9295b09e909d44375bab9fda2f0c302b071962 on the target branch https://github.com/nodemcu/nodemcu-firmware/commits/dev-esp32-idf4 What am I missing?
