Prospective mentors should be familiar with the mentors best practices and the workshoppers we plan to run , i.e. learnyounode , javascripting , and functional .
I would like to participate as mentor. I can teach JS from basics to Node.js. I have some experience with almost all standard modules and async is a common task to me.
Have you some idea about the space? And about the mentor/student ratio? And about the hours to be spent on the workshop (each day)?
Hi @aurium that is awesome! we aim for a ratio of 1 to 5 mentors/students.
here is a draft of the schedule for the 27th of April (day 3 of the cubaconf) where the workshops happen:

On April 22nd 2016 the organizers of Encuentros Sociales de Desarrolladores have invited me to talk about the Brython sprint (see #9) and the first edition of NodeSchool Havana . That day all NSH mentors nearby , are invited to attend to explain the details of the event to the audience . Participation is free and open .
Please consult the program of the 10th ESD meetup .
i am in havana from the 22th - who wants to meet up before the conference?
@robertkowalski can you make it to ESD 10 starting at 15:00 at restaurant El Potin at the corner of Línea and Paseo streets ? It'd be awesome if you could attend and explain what's going to happen during the event , clarify what's a workshopper , ... you know , overview and basic introductory info . If you could bring Virtualbox and Vagrant binaries to offer them locally for download , that'd be awesome as well . Look forward to meet up .
which day? on the 22th i just have time in the evening, i arrive at havana airport around 16:00. the other days i am flexible.
I was making reference to April 22nd at 15:00 . Anyway , even if you cannot make it to ESD 10 event , I'm looking forward to meet with you guys any time during the weekend then .
Oh ! Now I notice ... the event is meant to end at 19:00 . I'll take a look at my agenda but I guess any time after that should be ok too (though I'll have to confirm in the next few days) .
@engelgabriel will you arrive any time before Fri April 22nd 15:00 ? If this is the case we could also spend some time installing a local Rocket.chat instance for the event . I'm particularly interested in integrating it with Gitlab .
